“PHONETICALLY SPEAKING” To reflect the fast pace of world news, my blog is probably best served as a stream-of-consciousness text. Fast and unadulterated. With this approach, and on first encounter, text might not seem to scan. This is because I am dyslexic. Instead of keeping the proof-readers busy, I would rather let my blog updates of my visual work stand as a record of my experience of dyslexia, which I am keen that you now get to enjoy too. Unlike some news outlets, I hereby excuse myself the need for a ‘corrections’ section! The excitement of a new language is something I’m quite familiar with, and it is with this ‘joie de vivre’ that I am delighted to guide you through my thought and work processes, more phonetically (than fanatically) speaking.

The result of modern sensational 24 seven news which is normally championed by pro-European and globalist, but when eccentric English, centre-right Katie Hopkins tries to take part in the lowest form of journalism she chooses to play the game immigration with historic references to undesirables in the Second World War. Not too sure why she picked those cards up she had plenty of others to choose from.

“The Nazi media described people their masters wanted to eliminate as rats and cockroaches,” the UN high commissioner for human rights, Zeid Ra’ad Al Hussein said.

He singled out an article by former gameshow contestant turned-commentator Katie Hopkins, published by the Sun newspaper last Thursday, in which she wrote: “Make no mistake, these migrants are like cockroaches. They might look a bit ‘Bob Geldof’s Ethiopia circa 1984’, but they are built to survive a nuclear bomb. They are survivors.”

Zeid said free speech and hate speech were clearly delineated. However, I cannot see his reference to this and I think it’s more complex and pretty much impossible to agree on what is hate speech and prosecuting someone and the grounds of a feeling is possibly a dangerous place for society to be.

He went on to say “I am an unswerving advocate of freedom of expression, which is guaranteed under Article 19 of the International Covenant on Civil and Political Rights (ICCPR), but it is not absolute.

“Article 20 of the same covenant says: ‘Any advocacy of national, racial or religious hatred that constitutes incitement to discrimination, hostility or violence shall be prohibited by law.”

She’s playing straight into the progressive no border communists with this rhetoric and more she shouts she will alienate more and more people even those who agree with her.

As a military British officer trained at Sandhurst you would think she would have more modesty and rigor about her.
