“PHONETICALLY SPEAKING” To reflect the fast pace of world news, my blog is probably best served as a stream-of-consciousness text. Fast and unadulterated. With this approach, and on first encounter, text might not seem to scan. This is because I am dyslexic. Instead of keeping the proof-readers busy, I would rather let my blog updates of my visual work stand as a record of my experience of dyslexia, which I am keen that you now get to enjoy too. Unlike some news outlets, I hereby excuse myself the need for a ‘corrections’ section! The excitement of a new language is something I’m quite familiar with, and it is with this ‘joie de vivre’ that I am delighted to guide you through my thought and work processes, more phonetically (than fanatically) speaking.
400 MPs
When the MPs are away the Metropolitan police will play, they ran a mock terrorist attack on the houses of Westminster in the dead of night.
It was something from the James Bond franchise, everything went so smoothly a gentle boat crossing to the balcony at the Houses of Parliament making sure to wear black tie and a quick takeover of Parliament. All in one evening. The Metropolitan police mentioned if this was real, we could have lost 100 MPs. they did not do the skydiving scenario where over 400 MPs could be assassinated.
Fortunately, they wrote a report for the MPs explain how to fix this and with no surprise they need a bigger budget. Even though they got through their own security. Normally when that happens you change your contractor, any sane person wouldn’t give them more money.
