Legal Medication or illegal guns
  -  BEA Artwork   -  Legal Medication or illegal guns

“PHONETICALLY SPEAKING” To reflect the fast pace of world news, my blog is probably best served as a stream-of-consciousness text. Fast and unadulterated. With this approach, and on first encounter, text might not seem to scan. This is because I am dyslexic. Instead of keeping the proof-readers busy, I would rather let my blog updates of my visual work stand as a record of my experience of dyslexia, which I am keen that you now get to enjoy too. Unlike some news outlets, I hereby excuse myself the need for a ‘corrections’ section! The excitement of a new language is something I’m quite familiar with, and it is with this ‘joie de vivre’ that I am delighted to guide you through my thought and work processes, more phonetically (than fanatically) speaking.

Legal Medication or illegal guns

Another mass shooting, this time at Umpqua Community College. Democrats out in force to blame guns once again, whilst at the same time pushing for more military style policing.

Almost every school shooting the last 15 years, the shooter is on psychiatric drugs, which is to be more commonplace especially in the developed world and the USA. This element should be taken seriously and more research has to be done on the connection between psychiatric drugs and mass shootings.

To turn this disaster into a political lever is disgraceful, as if we don’t address the issue properly we are only set to repeat it. As clearly shown higher gun regulation doesn’t equal less shootings.

There is no easy fix if you have spent the time looking at the actual numbers in relation to gun control and still think this is a viable option unfortunately you are in some form of fairyland, but it is a very easy sell for the Democratic party as it’s a very logical nice position to hold. In an ideal world there would be no good objection to it.
