“PHONETICALLY SPEAKING” To reflect the fast pace of world news, my blog is probably best served as a stream-of-consciousness text. Fast and unadulterated. With this approach, and on first encounter, text might not seem to scan. This is because I am dyslexic. Instead of keeping the proof-readers busy, I would rather let my blog updates of my visual work stand as a record of my experience of dyslexia, which I am keen that you now get to enjoy too. Unlike some news outlets, I hereby excuse myself the need for a ‘corrections’ section! The excitement of a new language is something I’m quite familiar with, and it is with this ‘joie de vivre’ that I am delighted to guide you through my thought and work processes, more phonetically (than fanatically) speaking.
Owpen for eferewon’s Bisiness
The double-edged sword of the dual justice system in the UK, created by the growing use of Sharia courts.
Interestingly in English law the individual has the right to do anything they like if it doesn’t affect anyone else or specified in case law. Therefore, I am not aware of an English law which Prohibits You taking part in a Sharia court and if you are willing to accept their judgement and the judgement does not impeach on English law, I can’t see why the two legal systems cannot sit side-by-side.
There has been a growing number of non-Muslims using the Sharia courts to settle business disagreements and other social and economic issues. With great success as there is a huge cost in going to court under the English legal system and a lot of these issues the cost alone would make it unviable in the English legal system.
However, the need to be funding for integration with Muslim scholars and English law experts to navigate through this tricky and complex journey which the Sharia courts will need to go through to help the integration into modern British society.
