Lockdown Narcissus

At 8:30 p.m. on 23 March 2020, the unprecedented first UK Lockdown began, but still required a three-hour performance in Parliament to make it look legitimate and legal, they got a Standing ovation. They caught the first act “the The Health Protection Coronavirus, Restrictions (England) Regulations 2020.

This is when I realized, they were going to go all out on this opportunity and play all their cards at once, hoping the majority does not see their hand at play.

This brazen attempt of grab absolute power will fail like it always does they are narcissistic, and it reminded me of the Greek mythology, especially the story of Narcissu, therefore I thought it was quite fitting to create a new series of sublime artwork, keeping our spirits up through these dark times.
