Lollipops in the Great Deception

As election season nears, politicians hand out lollipops in different colours, each claiming their flavour is the sweetest. They offer everything to make you choose their version of governance, but these politicians live in a bubble, believing sugar, artificial flavouring, and colouring can solve all problems.

Each election, they return, pretending to be one of us, just to secure another term. The four major parties may look different, but they’re made in the same mould, with only slight tweaks to keep the illusion going.

To grow as a nation, we must break free from this sugar-coated deception.
