A Cuppa!

“PHONETICALLY SPEAKING” To reflect the fast pace of world news, my blog is probably best served as a stream-of-consciousness text. Fast and unadulterated. With this approach, and on first encounter, text might not seem to scan. This is because I am dyslexic. Instead of keeping the proof-readers busy, I would rather let my blog updates of my visual work stand as a record of my experience of dyslexia, which I am keen that you now get to enjoy too. Unlike some news outlets, I hereby excuse myself the need for a ‘corrections’ section! The excitement of a new language is something I’m quite familiar with, and it is with this ‘joie de vivre’ that I am delighted to guide you through my thought and work processes, more phonetically (than fanatically) speaking.

A Cuppa!

English eccentric on an international non-profit humanitarian aid relief for journalists, bringing vital supplies of tea.

The vultures are out to get blood for non-politically correct article about the Burka, where Boris likens the Burka to a postbox. However this didn’t go down too well with the easily offended progressive media class and activists at the BBC and Guardian etc. who will be offended for anyone if they can gain some political leverage.

As if they just carried on reading past the inappropriate British satire, they would get to the point where he was defending the right for people to wear whatever they like, which is in line with British values and there would be an argument to make a British comedy you are part of the society when you become part of the joke. Just like the successful TV comedy series Goodness Gracious Me, a good example would be “Going for an English” however for a journalist like Johnson to write this at this time is lazy and inappropriate. Especially as Muslims in France are getting fined for wearing the Burka which started in 2011 and only getting worse.

As he consider himself as an English liberal, this would have been a great opportunity to pen the importance of classical English liberalism on the rights of individuals. This Is paramount over the European / French liberty “Liberté, égalité, fraternité” which is liberty of the state not the individual.

A fundamental right which comes along with the English understanding of liberty would be the right to be offended and this is what is being attacked by the press, making out the Muslims can’t handle Johnson silly comments and they need protected as a special identity. Which is bringing in the European / French liberty understanding of the word. Which doesn’t end well for the Muslims.

Where in fact Johnson was actually arguing the right to wear the Burka in Britain. Just using inappropriate English satire. Which I’m sure 99.99% of British Muslims would just ignore the inappropriate ramblings of Johnson. It is just the liberal left who actually whipped it up into a international story for political point scoring, who have no interest in protecting the rights of individuals. As I don’t see any major leading stories about French Muslims who can’t where the Burka.
